Poker League

Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Poker League (poker-league.app and every league address under it). Please read them — by creating an account or using a league you accept them.

Create your league — free for up to 6 players

1. Who we are

Poker League is run by ETNASISTEM, obrt za računalne djelatnosti i oglašavanje, Omiška 19, 21000 Split, Croatia, OIB 60534138457, MBO 97699187 ("we", "us"). You can reach us through the contact page or at [privacy e-mail, e.g. [email protected]].

2. What Poker League is

Poker League is software for running poker leagues: season standings, a tournament clock, player registration, points, statistics and record keeping. Each league has its own address (yourleague.poker-league.app). The person who creates a league is its organiser (owner); they decide who joins, what is recorded and whether the league is public or members-only.

3. No gambling, no money handling

Poker League is a record-keeping tool. We do not organise games, accept bets, hold, transfer or pay out money, and there is no real-money play on the platform. Buy-ins, rebuys, pots and prizes you enter are records only.

League organisers are solely responsible for making sure their games comply with the law where they play. In many countries — Croatia included — organising poker for money may require a licence or be restricted. Use Poker League only for games that are legal for you.

4. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or be added to a league.
  • Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account per person. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time under My leagues → Security & privacy.

5. League organisers

  • You may only add people who agreed to take part, and you must tell your players that their results and profile are kept in Poker League (you can point them to our Privacy Policy).
  • You decide whether the league is public. A public league can be seen by anyone and by search engines.
  • You are responsible for the content of your league — names, photos, texts, e-mails you send through the app — and for the people you make admins.
  • If your league stops paying for a package, it moves to the Free package and its limits apply; your data is kept.

6. Data processing for league organisers

For the personal data of players in your league you are the controller and we are your processor (GDPR art. 28). This section is our data processing agreement with you. We:

  • process league data only to provide Poker League and on your documented instructions — the settings and actions in the app;
  • make sure our staff are bound to confidentiality;
  • protect the data with appropriate technical and organisational measures (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access control, backups);
  • use only the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy and tell you of changes there at least 30 days in advance, so you can object or close the league;
  • help you answer requests from players who exercise their rights (the app has export, edit and delete tools for this);
  • tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your league;
  • delete league data when you delete the league, except where the law requires us to keep it;
  • give you the information needed to show compliance with this section on reasonable request.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Poker League to:

  • break the law, including gambling, tax and data protection laws;
  • upload content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • add people without their consent or impersonate someone;
  • attack, overload or probe the service, get around limits or access data you are not allowed to see;
  • copy the service, scrape it automatically or resell it without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend an account or league that breaks these rules. Where possible we warn you first and explain why.

8. Your content

Everything you put into Poker League stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and show it only as needed to run the service for you and your league — for example to show the standings to your players, or to everyone if the league is public. The software, design and brand of Poker League are ours.

9. Packages, prices and payment

  • The Free package costs nothing. Paid packages and their prices are shown on the pricing page and again at checkout; the price at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. A subscription is paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and renews automatically until you cancel it.
  • You can cancel at any time in the league's package settings. The package stays active until the end of the period you paid for; it then moves to Free.
  • If a payment fails, we try again for a short time and then move the league to Free.
  • We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance; they apply from your next billing period, and you can cancel before then.
  • Apart from the right of withdrawal below and where the law requires it, payments for periods already started are not refunded.

10. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)

If you buy a paid package as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the purchase without giving a reason. Tell us clearly — by the contact form or by e-mail — for example: "I withdraw from my contract for the [package] of league [address], bought on [date]. Name, e-mail."

Because you ask us to start the package straight away, if you withdraw we refund what you paid minus a proportional amount for the days the package was already active. We refund within 14 days using the same payment method. Businesses (for example pubs and clubs buying for their venue) do not have this right.

11. Complaints

You can send a complaint in writing through the contact page or to [privacy e-mail, e.g. [email protected]]. We confirm that we received it and send a written answer within 15 days.

12. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Poker League running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available without interruption or errors. We may improve, change or retire features. If a change takes away something essential that you paid for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and get a proportional refund.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Poker League and delete your account or league at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law. If we shut down the service, we will give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.

14. Liability

We are responsible for providing the service with due care. We are not liable for disputes between players or organisers, for money exchanged at your games, or for indirect losses such as lost profit. Apart from that, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or €100 if you use the Free package).

Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account before then.

16. Law and disputes

Croatian law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your own country's courts. Otherwise the competent court in the city of our registered office has jurisdiction. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved with a message.
