Poker League

The poker tournament clock for any TV

Open poker-league.app in the TV's browser, press play on your phone, and the whole room sees the blinds, the time to the next level, who is still in and what the prizes are. The clock runs on the server, so it does not depend on a laptop under the TV, and every rebuy and knockout you tap on your phone shows up on the screen within a second.

Poker League tournament clock on a TV: level, blinds, time left, next level, players left, prizes and the results column
The clock in the TV's browser, run from a phone: blinds, the time left, the next level, prizes and who is out.

What the clock shows

  • The current level with small blind, big blind and ante, the time left and the blinds of the next level.
  • Breaks with their own countdown, and a clear "Paused" state when the director stops the clock.
  • Players left, tables and seats, the prize pool and the payouts, and the Masters pot when the league runs one.
  • The results column: every player knocked out, in order, with their finishing place — and who knocked them out.
  • Your league's name, logo and colours, plus small touches such as who deals the first hand and a birthday greeting for a player.

Run it from your phone

The clock has no buttons on the TV. The tournament director runs it from the admin panel on a phone: play and pause, a minute more or less, jump to any level, and every rebuy, add-on and knockout with one tap. The TV and the players' phones follow within a second.

Built for a TV in a room full of people

  • Full-screen with one tap, big numbers readable from the far end of the room, cursor hidden, screen kept awake.
  • Five colour themes — green, black, blue, crimson and gold — or your own colours, and themed clocks for Summer and Autumn Special nights.
  • Between tournaments the TV shows the league logo and a countdown to the next night, and switches to the clock by itself when the tournament starts.
  • Any screen with a browser works: a smart TV, a laptop or tablet connected to the TV, or a streaming stick with a browser.

Sounds and alerts

  • A warning beep shortly before the level changes (15 seconds by default) and a second one on the change itself.
  • A sound for every elimination, a longer one for a double knockout, and a fanfare for the winner.
  • Replace any sound with your own file, give a particular blind level its own sound, or give a player their own knockout sound.

Blind structures

Every league starts with a ready-made blind structure, and every level, its length, the antes and the breaks can be changed. Need one for a different number of players or a shorter night? The blinds calculator builds it in a few seconds.

Everything stays in sync

The clock runs on the server, not on the TV or the phone. The TV, the director's phone and every player's phone show the same level and the same seconds, so the clock keeps running if the phone locks, and players who step outside can check the blinds on their own phone.

When the tournament ends, so does the admin

Knockouts entered on the clock are the results. When the last player standing wins, the places, points, prizes, rebuys and add-ons are already in the season standings, the records and the finances.

Frequently asked questions

Does the poker tournament clock work on a smart TV?

Yes. Any TV with a browser shows it full-screen; so does a laptop, tablet or streaming stick connected to the TV. Type poker-league.app/demo/clock into the TV's browser to see it.

Is the clock free?

Yes. The tournament clock is in every package, including Free for leagues of up to 6 players. The demo needs no account at all.

Does the clock keep running if my phone or the TV loses connection?

Yes. The clock runs on the server. If the TV drops off the Wi-Fi it catches up the moment it reconnects, and the phone you run it from can lock or sleep without stopping the level.

Can I change the blinds during the tournament?

You can pause, add or take away minutes, and jump to any level from your phone. The structure itself — levels, lengths, antes and breaks — is set up per league and can be edited for a tournament before it starts.

Can I use the clock without a league?

The demo clock runs with made-up data. For your own blind structure, create a free league: the clock, registration and standings are included and nothing is installed.

Is there a tournament poker app for the phone?

Poker League works as a web app in the phone's browser: the director panel, the clock and the standings are built for phone screens, and "Add to Home Screen" gives it an icon like any app. There is nothing to install from an app store.

Does the clock do antes and breaks?

Yes. Each level has a small blind, a big blind and an optional ante, and breaks are levels of their own with their own countdown. Rebuy and add-on periods are set by the league.
